SBA Building Campaign

A Business Plan for the Future

Through Wayne First: The Campaign for Wayne State University, The university’s $500 million long-range fund-raising effort, the School of Business Administration is re-creating itself for the future. The school’s major goals include a new building, endowed faculty position, new and expanded centers and institutes, and additional scholarships and fellowships.

A New Facility

If the School of Business Administration is to strengthen its position as one of the nation’s top urban business schools, it must provide an environment that will prepare students to meet changing workforce demands and the challenges of a 21st century economy.

A new building for the School of Business Administration will provide added space and technological capacities to support innovative programs, curricula and research. In addition to abundant classroom and office space, the building will feature a 250-seat auditorium, computer laboratories and meeting rooms. Student services, including Career Planning and Placement, will be consolidated in one location, providing a continuum of student support from admission to graduation and beyond. Suites for the Executive in Residence, the Entrepreneurs’ Center and Professional Development programs will be included as well.
